CEWales are delighted to be partnering Procurex 2026 in Cardiff on 11th November.
Procurex Wales is the leading event for the procurement sector in Wales, bringing procurement professionals and senior leaders from major public sector organisations together with supply chain partners, advisors and support organisations to discuss and debate the challenges and opportunities within the sector. It attracts over a thousand delegates each year, including representatives from more than 160 unique buying organisations. This year’s event is being held on 11th November in Cardiff, on the same day as the Go Awards Wales, an evening event that celebrates excellence in the procurement sector.
Procurex features the Procurement Wales Conference, which covers a range of issues and topics, from policy direction and industry trends to the latest technological advances in procurement, as well as several themed ‘skills zones’, designed to deliver CPD-style seminars and workshops on a range of topics to procurement professionals and suppliers. There is also a Micro, SME & Third Sector Showcase, which profiles smaller organisations that have successfully delivered public sector contracts and encourages procurement teams to explore these avenues.
These features sit within a large exhibition area, where around 80 suppliers exhibit each year, alongside a number of partners with a significant buying presence or an interest in promoting effective procurement (eg. NHS, Business Wales, MoD, CIPS, several universities, etc.). The Welsh Government has its own central pavilion, staffed by the Commercial Procurement Delivery team, alongside managers of several procurement frameworks and Sell2Wales.
