It has been a busy and exciting summer so far for CEWales following our Awards celebration in June. Since the event, we have been busy collating feedback, responding to queries and developing case studies that showcase the winners outstanding achievements and the impact of their work which will be published on our website very soon.
We have also recently said farewell to Cat Griffith-Williams, who stepped down as CEO after six highly successful years at the helm of CEWales. Throughout her tenure, Cat led the organisation with passion, vision and purpose, championing collaboration, innovation and transformation across the Welsh built environment. Her leadership has fostered a strong, values-driven community and established a clear strategic direction that positions CEWales well for the future. On behalf of the Board, the team and the wider CEWales community, we extend our sincere thanks to Cat for her exceptional leadership, dedication and lasting contribution. We wish her every success in her new role at WSP.
As previously announced, Dave Powell has stepped into the role of Interim CEO, supported by Andrew Dobbs and Andy Sutton. Together, they bring extensive leadership experience and industry knowledge to guide CEWales through this period.
On behalf of Welsh Government, CEWales are leading exciting new work on digital construction. Working alongside Wales Digital Steering Group Co-Chairs Dan Rossiter and Rhys Lewis, the team is developing a Digital Construction Toolkit for the Welsh construction industry. The work is intended to produce a pragmatic and accessible platform that is relevant to the wider Welsh construction industry, helping to understand how and when digital might work for you, and support your firm to face a digital future with greater confidence, productivity and growth.

Finally, there are no plans to issue a newsletter in August, so we would like to wish everyone a wonderful and well-deserved summer break.
