Swansea University’s Go Wales: Student Employability programme
Kier is delighted to be working in partnership with Swansea University’s Go Wales: Student Employability programme.
A programme that provides targeted support to students from underrepresented groups and from lower socio-economic backgrounds to help enhance their employability and build their network. They help students with bespoke careers advice and provide them with opportunities including salary-subsidised internships, taster days, mentoring, bursaries and career events.
Kier welcomed Heloise Brown, who is completing her Masters in Society, Environment, and Global Change to its Swansea office, where she will partake in a mentoring programme with Kier Western and Wales Environmental Manager, Scott Bowler.
Mentoring is a great way for students to meet and learn from industry specialists whilst also being able to share their own knowledge and experiences.
