Tai ar y Cyd – Delivering Net Zero Project Launch

You are invited to join the launch of Tai ar y Cyd – formerly known as Delivering Net Zero Project - on January 15th in person in Swansea or via live stream.

23 Welsh social landlords are launching their new pattern book of affordable house designs that will be used to build out their pipeline of new homes across Wales. The member landlords share a vision of delivering affordable homes for future generations that meet the highest standards for low-carbon performance. The pattern book embraces cutting-edge building techniques and will leverage local resources – especially a local supply chain of timber frame manufacturers using natural low carbon materials. This work will support the Welsh economy, reduce carbon emissions and help tenants save money on energy bills.

The launch is a celebration by members and partners of their collective achievement. More importantly is a call to action to use the pattern book.

The format for the day will be a mix of keynote speakers, panel discussions and workshops.

Confirmed speakers and panel members so far include:

  • Jane Bryant, Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government. Welsh Gov- joining by video link
