Our friends in the north
CEWales has a new club in North Wales that launches this month and is building a core membership and will be at the centre of sharing best practice and key events in the region.
CEWales is re-launching the North Wales club this month with an online meeting.
The new look club will seek to drive improvements in the business of construction and represent the sector in North Wales. We have been talking to different organisations and members in the region and there is a strong desire to bring the construction and built environment sector together to explore common issues, themes of work and identify areas in which CEWales can raise with Welsh Government on your behalf.
A relaunch of the Constructing Excellence North Wales Club needs hard work and commitment from members and right now we are talking direct to individuals and organisations, but we are also looking for expressions of interest from anyone else who would like to be involved. For the club to be a success and have purpose we really need local contractors to lead the way with involvement from clients as well. Due to work demands, Chris Davies from Caulmert is stepping aside as Chair so we will be looking for his replacement. We would like to thank Chris for his commitment to CEWales and the time he has given to the movement.
The Constructing Excellence North Wales Club will play an important role in informing CEWales of issues of regional importance which will be fed into the CEWales Management Board.
We are holding a virtual meeting on 21st September with all who express an interest, to scope out the format of the club, receive nominations for Chair and ideas on holding a face-to-face meeting in North Wales in November.
We would really value your involvement and support and look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. Email info@cewales.org.uk.
