On 20th June, in partnership with Gavin Griffiths Group and Careers Wales, Kier had the pleasure of hosting the Birchgrove Comprehensive School Eco Club at their Cwmgwili recycling plant.
This visit aimed to educate the pupils about recycling and the circular economy, providing them with a hands-on learning experience.
The day started with an engaging quiz that tested the pupils' knowledge of the company and recycling, followed by a detailed tour of the recycling plant. During the tour, the students learned about the journey of recyclable materials from collection to processing and the significance of recycling in conserving natural resources and supporting the circular economy.
