Green Hat Unveils New Brand Identity on 11th Anniversary

As Green Hat celebrates its 11th anniversary of its founding, the company is delighted to unveil a brand-new identity. This refresh reflects its ambitious growth and ongoing commitment to support, inspire, and protect clients in their health and safety practices.

The concept of the green hat, derived from Dr. Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats, symbolising creativity. While the core values remain unchanged, a modern twist has been introduced to the logo. The new design features a distinctive green accent above the “a” in the logo, representing a reimagined “green hat” for today. It signifies Green Hat’s dedication to fresh ideas and helping clients achieve their aspirations.

Green Hat is committed to protecting people, businesses, and society through education, influence, and inspiration. The logo is reinforced by three key words that define the company’s mission:

  • Support: Offering guidance to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Inspire: Encouraging clients to elevate their health and safety standards beyond basic compliance.
  • Protect: Safeguarding clients' workforce and operational integrity through effective health and safety measures.

The redesign was expertly handled by local Swansea-based creative agency, Waters Creative. Following a comprehensive brief and extensive employee workshops, Waters Creative has highlighted the company’s unique qualities and positioned the business as leaders in the industry.

Andrew Warring, founder and managing director of Green Hat, shared his thoughts on the brand refresh:

"This is an extremely exciting time for the business as we continue to strengthen our presence not only in South Wales but across the UK. We have invested in this rebranding to show that since our inception in 2013, we have grown into a significant consultancy that invests in its people and the services we provide to our clients.

“I am delighted with the new brand identity, which better reflects our modern and forward-thinking approach, places our people's values at the core, and underscores our commitment to responsible business practices. I am confident that our new brand will resonate well with our employees, clients, and the wider community as we look forward to growing our business together in the future."

Rachael Wheatley, founder of Waters Creative, contributed, “Work on a new website for Green Hat has started as part of the brand refresh, with a launch planned for early autumn. The website will showcase Green Hat's diverse services and offer a seamless browsing experience across all devices, featuring easy navigation and accessibility to key information and resources. It’s a very exciting time for the business and we are delighted to have played a very small part in turning their vision for the future into a reality.”
