The CEWales Construction Summit: Building what Wales needs
Building what Wales needs: how do we do that? The CEWales Construction Summit, set for 7th February 2023 in Cardiff, asks ‘what does Wales need’ and how can construction provide the answers in a low carbon, sustainable manner that hits all Welsh Government targets. Sign up, attend and tell us your ideas.
Next February CEWales is running our first Construction Summit.
Our goal is to set an agenda for the next twelve months for the Welsh built environment sector to pursue. Our aim is that the event will not be a vehicle for criticism and castigating past failures, but instead that we look forward and work together to be solution focussed.
Speakers from Government, the National Federation of Builders, the Construction Innovation Hub and leading service providers will give context to the operating conditions and targets to work towards. Against this backdrop we will collaborate so we each leave with takeaways to be applied on projects, schemes and amongst our respective organisations.
So. Do you want to play a part at the CEWales Construction Summit on 7th February 2023?
We are creating an exciting agenda that challenges the sector to deliver solutions that will deliver the built environment that Wales needs, decarbonise and transform the sector and move this vital economic sector forward.
Speaker slots are running out fast as we are some ways to completing our agenda – but if you are interested then we would ask you to call to discuss what you have in mind. Our aim is to have speakers that demonstrate best practice and who speak objectively as advocates for change.
It will be an event that is both informative and influential, and one that makes a margin – to help finance further CEWales activities. To that end we are seeking sponsors and exhibitors to take part at a cost.
- £1k secures a speaker slot of 10-20 minute, an exhibition space and three free delegate tickets.
- £500 secures an exhibition space and a role as a panellist in one of our discussion sessions
- £300 secures an exhibition space only
Key to this the success of the event is the exhibitors. We hope to have a mix of CEW Award winners demonstrating their category winning projects and ideas, alongside service providers and suppliers like yourselves who offer ideas, systems, services and materials that can transform Welsh construction.
Please call us or email us in the usual way and do not be shy about suggesting alternative ideas after all, we are very solution focussed!
