Cardiff Met and Swansea University's Circular Economy Programme: The next cohort starts soon!

The CEIC Programme will kick off again this summer, with the next cohorts from the Cardiff Capital Region and Swansea Bay Region getting down to circular business from mid-June – and it’s not too late to join them.

Bringing the circular economy (CE) into your business means cost savings, competitive advantage, risk resilience and a host of opportunities for innovation and growth.

The Clean Growth Programme supports businesses and third-sector organisations of all sizes to adopt CE principles. By developing a network of likeminded sustainability champions, the fully-funded programme drives CE capabilities and enables clean and sustainable growth across a wide range of industries.

The Clean Growth Programme is designed for people who can influence service and product development. It brings businesses together to collaboratively enhance their understanding of the circular economy, and develop innovation plans to support clean growth and contribute to Welsh Government’s ‘Net Zero Wales’ ambitions.

The six-month programme includes:

-          Monthly workshops to develop innovation skills and build strong networks to support innovation plan development

-          R&D support from university staff

Outcomes include:

-          Enhanced innovation knowledge and skills

-          Circular economy knowledge development
