Brexit Claims the UK Construction Minister
Richard Harrington MP resigned as Business Minister (which includes his role as Construction Minister) because of his views regarding Brexit
CEWales has been asked by the former construction minister, Richard Harrington MP, to make sure his published letter of resignation is widely known amongst the business interests he served in Government. Harrington resigned earlier last week in order to be able vote for the Letwin amendment, which it was Government policy to oppose. Brexit, no matter in what form, if it does happen (as we write it is still open to question) is likely to cause a major impact on our industry – not least because of the predicted difficulties regarding the movement of materials and labour being slowed or affecting costs and availability of products and supplies.
Richard Harrington’s letter makes a strong argument and is worth being published here in full – click here to see a copy
