The IED recently published its findings and recommendations from a major piece of research into the delivery of social value in the construction sector. Led by the IED’s Chair, Bev Hurley CBE, the results revealed a host of deep challenges on both supply and demand sides, with little likelihood of securing a significant impact from the estimated £500bn construction spend by 2030 unless they were addressed. In our September webinar Bev will give a short presentation on the IED’s work and participants will have plenty of time to discuss the recommendations.
