Pentre Awel Social Value event with the SWW Best Practice Club

Bouygues are nearing completion of Pentre Awel, awarded under SWWRCF for Carmarthenshire County Council. As one of the highest value schemes being delivered in South West Wales, the team were proactive in ensuring an ambitious Social Value Strategy was in place to meet Carmarthenshire's requirements and also ensuring the project created meaningful social value outcomes for the local community and wider South West Wales region.

Social Value has been embedded in all aspects of their approach on the project, from ensuring they engage with local subcontractors and suppliers to engaging the local community to deliver education, training and employment opportunities. They have also partnered with a number of local organisations, collaborating on initiatives that have helped them widen their impact and reach.
