Tywyn School in Burry Port is being built by Dawnus to Passivhaus and BREEAM Excellent standards. Welsh timber has been used as the principle structural material and for cladding the £9.6m replacement to the existing Ysgol Parc y Tywyn.

The project includes the new 330 pupil school, a 45 pupil nursery, facilities accessible to the wider community, relaying the access road and providing a new access to the neighbouring sand facility.
Through working with the Enabling Zero Waste team Dawnus are looking to prevent, reuse and recycle as much waste as possible.

The Dawnus team have helped highlight regulatory issues around the reuse of asphalt road planning's, and the growing use of single use polyester lifting slings. During the event a project overview will be provided detailing these issues and waste management challenges while highlighting examples of best practice.

The event will conclude with a site visit, full PPE will be required.

There are only a limited number of spaces availalble.

Non-attendance by any registered delegate will be charged £20 plus VAT unless you have informed us 48 hours prior to the event.
