CEW/RSAW - Client Roadshow - Working with Architects
Download: Flyer
Join Constructing Excellence in Wales (CEW) and the Royal Society of Architects in Wales (RSAW) on 27 September to hear the findings from the RIBA Client Liaison Group’s ground-breaking ‘Working with Architects’ survey and to explore critical issues in the client-architect relationship. Nigel Ostime of Hawkins\Brown Architects and Chair of the RIBA Client Liaison Group said, “The format of the programme is designed to get you thinking about your work practices by putting yourself in others’ shoes. Ultimately, it is part of a bigger effort to improve effectiveness, collaboration, efficiency, productivity, and, of course, outcomes in the construction industry.”
Outline programme
Robert Firth, RSAW President and Director of ActionCOACH, will summarize the RIBA ‘Working with Architects’ survey findings to set the scene for the event. Organised in a round-table format to facilitate a single group discussion, invited speakers representing architect and client teams will set the scene with a brief outline of their experience of this sometimes complex relationship. The aim is to explore how these relations might be improved in order to create a better, more viable, sustainable, resilient, and fit-for-purpose built environment. Participants will be encouraged to engage in the discussion and share their experiences, with the main points raised contributing (anonymously) to the on-going market intelligence research work of the RIBA Client Liaison Group.
