Watkin Jones Group Leadership & People Development
The ‘Final Peer Review’ for the Constructing Excellence in Wales Demonstration Programme
In 2006 Watkin Jones Group made a commitment that every employee would receive an individual tailored training programme, assessing their own personal training needs and expectations.
This included Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Board Directors who also received specific management training and executive coaching to assist in their desire to improve their management behaviour and performance, emphasising the commitment from above to revolutionise the working environment in which they operate. Since this Strategy was presented at the initial Demonstration Peer Review last year, we have experienced unforeseen and unprecedented turmoil in the economy, testing this radical approach to the limit. So how have Watkin Jones fared? Has this approach helped them survive the crisis?
At this seminar which is part of the CEW Demonstration Programme, you will get the opportunity to hear first hand. As part of the presentation you will be able to participate in the discussion and provide your own ‘review’ or assessment of the project via a simple scoring mechanism. This forms the final stage in the process of a ‘demonstration project’.
The Demonstration Programme for Wales is designed to promote Best Practice and innovation in construction through a wide ranging programme of projects and initiatives throughout Wales.
The event will take place at the Watkin Jones Training Centre in St Asaph, commencing with registration at 7.45am and will conclude at approx 10am with an optional tour of the facilities.
You must register in advance.
There is no charge for the event. To reserve your place please reply to this email stating your full contact details.
