Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water Alliance
North Wales Constructing Excellence Club in association with CEW presents:
A Final Peer Review for the CEW Demonstration Programme
Since the mid 90s Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water has used a collaborative approach in the delivery of its Investment Programme. Initially a number of individual projects adopted a partnered approach and their success helped build an Alliance in 2000 to deliver a large part of Welsh Water’s Investment programme. Over five years, this Alliance delivered significant cost reductions when compared to the Regulatory Allowance. As part of Welsh Water’s ongoing improvement, its current Alliance is building on further initiatives to strengthen the effectiveness of collaborative working.
The project is participating in the Demonstration Programme for Wales, designed to promote Best Practice and innovation in construction through a wide ranging programme of projects and initiatives throughout Wales.
Welsh Water’s CEW final peer review on Monday 7th December aims to explain its approach in a little more detail, with particular focus on health and safety, integrated teams and customer service.
As part of the presentation you will have opportunities to participate in the discussion and provide your own ‘review’ or assessment of the project via a simple scoring mechanism. This provides a valuable stage in the process of a project becoming a ‘demonstration’.
