Introduction
This programme element aims to encourage and increase the reuse and recycling of waste through establishing a network of Trade Waste Bring Sites (TWBS). This will increase access to reuse/recycling facilities and reduce mixed construction and demolition waste.
The aim of the TWBS is to establish civic amenity (CA) type facilities at builder’s merchants to allow trade customers to bring their construction and demolition waste for segregated recovery. Segregation prevents cross contamination, helping to ensure the highest quality recyclate.
