Ian Rees serves as Regional Director for Kier Construction in Wales. A Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Ian began his journey with Kier in November 2004 as a Quantity Surveyor in Newport. Over the past 20 years, he has been instrumental in the successful delivery of major projects throughout the region. His leadership and expertise led to his appointment as Area Manager for Wales in October 2021, and in March 2025, he was promoted to Regional Director. In this role, Ian now oversees strategic operations and drives growth across Kier’s Welsh construction portfolio which includes projects in the healthcare, education, and defence sectors.
