About Constructing Excellence in Wales

Driving Best Practise and Collaboration in the Welsh Built Environment, championing sustainable, innovative solutions.

Our mission

To drive innovation, collaboration, and excellence in the Welsh construction sector by promoting best practices, sustainable solutions, and continuous improvement. We empower businesses, public sector partners, and communities to achieve high-performance construction outcomes that support economic growth, environmental responsibility, and social well-being

Our Vision

We envision a Welsh built environment that is profitable, productive, efficient, safe, and sustainable—a sector driven by value-based outcomes and unified leadership. At a time of transformation and high demand, construction must rise to meet the needs of future generations by unlocking potential, accelerating delivery of schools, hospitals, infrastructure, and housing, and embracing innovation and collaboration.

To achieve this, we call for integrated decision-making, procurement reform, planning efficiency, sustainability leadership, digital transformation, and investment in skills. CEWales will continue to champion these priorities, enabling the sector to recover, grow, and thrive—delivering real value for clients, communities, and the entire supply chain.
