Princess Quarter - Copr Bay, Swansea - Presentation & Site Visit

The South Wales Best Practice Club is pleased to run an event inconjuction with Morganstone on Thursday 2nd May.

Princess Quarter is located in the heart of the Copr Bae regeneration area in Swansea city centre. Morganstone is currently constructing the building for Kartay Holdings and it will provide the first Grade A office space in Swansea above retail space designated for a number of uses inc restaurant and hospitality

The project includes the redevelopment of the former Smith Llewellyn building, also known as Mamma Mia’s restaurant. The 1950’s structure required partial demolition and was stripped back to its RC core before reconstruction, with a new side extension and extra floor added to provide 15,000sq ft of office space and 5,000sq ft of retails space.

The building as you would expect in an area bombed excessively during World War 2, has thrown up a number of challenges to deal with and ensuring that the existing footprint was able to accommodate modern and flexible office design incorporating sustainable energy source, roof top garden, SuDs and providing ESG requirements for new tenants.

NB - PPE will be required for the site visit – the organisation can only provide hard hats and hi viz vests you will need to provide your own boots.

It is important that a separate email address is used for each delegate booking to ensure all individuals are listed at the event. If you use the same email address for each delegate previous details will be overwritten.

NB this is a free event for Members but you will be charged if you do not attend and you have not notified us. Places are limited to 20 (one place allocated per company). Non members will be charged to attend the event.
